We will be donating a variety of IT peripherals, including keyboards to support his artistic endeavors. Erik has done some amazing work using old computer keyboards to create both original art-murals and recreations of famous images and paintings.  #### Erik's Story: ![](https://blog.livinggreentechnology.org/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/1b4d56_c424f63e53b04fa4a72b105454dfc49b~mv2-1.jpeg) Erik Jensen is a born artist. Deaf too! He graduated from Utah Valley University with a BS in Art Education in 2017. He started doing art with computer keyboard keys in 2013, started doing it as a business in 2017 and and went to being a full-time artist in 2018. He loves spending time with his family and when he finds the time, he even gets on his 36-inch unicycle for exercise! #deafunicyclist #onewheelman.   Erik started doing art when he was first able to pick up things. His mother was (and still is!) awesome and allowed him to be free in his creativity, even it if meant big messes. This played a big part in Erik’s success throughout his life. In high school, his ceramics teacher supported him through every assignment and more. She even put in her own money so Erik could continue to develop his incredible art skills. Erik’s art has won several awards throughout his art career, in high school, college and art shows and festivals. In college, he had a couple pieces in the annual student art show. Both are what started his designs for what he has begun this art business with–computer key art. Check out some of his work on his [website](https://www.erikjensenart.com/)! ![IMG_20190 (1)](https://blog.livinggreentechnology.org/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/1b4d56_1e95c13f10e946b6b3c8a32b08fe3609~mv2-1.jpg?width=301&name=1b4d56_1e95c13f10e946b6b3c8a32b08fe3609~mv2-1.jpg) ![IMG_20190](https://blog.livinggreentechnology.org/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/1b4d56_dc9c3fce41f44ac78bb27317b61efa70~mv2-1.jpg?width=300&name=1b4d56_dc9c3fce41f44ac78bb27317b61efa70~mv2-1.jpg) ![imagejpeg](https://blog.livinggreentechnology.org/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/1b4d56_0447419d0c1b481d91f23cd579ddaa15~mv2-1.jpg?width=301&name=1b4d56_0447419d0c1b481d91f23cd579ddaa15~mv2-1.jpg) ![Subscribe](https://cdn2.hubspot.net/hubfs/2432204/99%20Template%20Pack/Background%20Images/message.svg "Subscribe") ### Subscribe to Email Updates ### Let Us Know What You Thought about this Post.
